More than 400 clients and family members had the opportunity to learn more about disaster risk reduction and preparedness by playing games specially designed for the purpose”
As part of MiCRO’s Value Added Program (VAP) that aims to make consumers more resilient, competitive and improve their livelihood conditions, MiCRO, with financial support from IADB/MIF, and together with Aseguradora Rural (AR) and Banrural (BR), and the active participation of CONRED, Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Guatemala, and the World Food Program organized the second Disaster Risk Reduction Fair (DRRF) in Chiquimula, on Saturday February 17th, 2018.
The fair had more than 400 participants, between Esfuerzo Seguro clients, their family members, and representatives of the various organizing entities. Through fun games and tailored activities for children, the clients and their families spent the morning learning about Esfuerzo Seguro, disaster risk reduction and preparedness, and refreshing their understanding of the protection offered by Esfuerzo Seguro.
Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Guatemala and the World Food Program participated actively with their own stands offering information about their services, which are fully aligned with and contributed to achieving the objectives of the fair.
