“Mario is a Mexican citizen; he earned his Master´s Degree in Risk Management with previous background in Actuarial Science and Applied Mathematics programs at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He is currently attending an Economic Theory graduate program and also pursues international actuarial certification through the Society of Actuaries (SoA) exams and career paths. He is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.”
He began his professional career at Swiss Re as a trainee for the Life & Health Pricing Desk. He also gained broking experience while working at Willis Towers Watson and Aon Benfield for the LATAM Treaty teams. Prior to joining MiCRO he led risk management projects for financial consultancy firms. He has 9 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Mario performs teaching sessions as an associate professor for the Actuarial Science and Applied Mathematics programs for different institutions throughout the country.
His areas of interests converge in deploying analytical resources to ease decision making and propel social impact to a higher level.
